Say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty, that they should not display their beauty except what must appear......

It is an important sura to teach women of modesty. Displaying your body is not chaste nor honouring of God of family and of yourself. I have been wearing short skirted dresses, and while I have enjoyed them for some reasons I am also weary of being too self-revealing.
